Qualified Vet Nurse, Battersea Dogs Home

Qualified Nurse required to join large and friendly team in superbly equipped clinic and training centre. Varied and interesting caseload with emphasis on 'hands on nursing'.

Kennel Supervisor, Battersea at Brands Hatch

Battersea at Brands Hatch is one of Battersea Dogs Home's outer London rehoming centres.

We require an experienced supervisor, responsible for the day-to-day activities of a team of kennel staff. Experience of working with rescue dogs and cats is essential. You should be flexible, with excellent communication and staff management skills. You will need tact and diplomacy in dealing with staff, volunteers and members of the public. The ability to cope under pressure is also essential.

As we are open seven days a week, working hours for this role are based on a rota, which will include weekends and night duties.

Part Time Receptionist, Battersea at Old Windsor

Battersea at Old Windsor is one of Battersea Dogs Home's outer London rehoming centres.

We require a part time receptionist, responsible for providing an efficient and friendly customer care service to visitors and callers, and to support cover of reception, shop, switchboard on a rota basis.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to communicate with staff, volunteers and public at every level and the use of tact and diplomacy when dealing with others. Candidates must have a high standard of numeracy, the ability to cope well under pressure and have a good standard of computer literacy

As the hours for this role are one day during the week and every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) flexibility will be required.

Kennel Hand, Battersea at Old Windsor

Battersea at Old Windsor is one of Battersea Dogs Home's outer London rehoming centres.

We have a vacancy for a Kennel Hand. Kennel Hands are responsible for the general care and welfare of the cats and dogs during their stay at the Home. Experience of working with rescue dogs and cats would be an advantage, however, full training will be given to all successful applicants. You should be calm and able to cope with what, at times, can be a stressful environment.

The role is based on a 40-hour week (8.00am - 5.00pm weekdays and 8.00am - 4.00pm weekends), which will include weekends.

Communications Officer (Marketing), Battersea Dogs Home

We require a Communications Officer to co-ordinate the Home's awareness marketing activities through marketing of projects, advertising activities in support of the Fundraising and Events departments and to provide administrative support to the Communications team.

The successful candidate must have at least 1 years marketing experience and be experienced in the co-ordinating, booking and progressing scheduled non-campaign and events advertising activity and co-ordinating web-based marketing programmes.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills as you will be required to attend shows and events as a representative of the Home.
