Discover Dogs

Discover Dogs - 10 November 2007

Earls Court 2, London

Discover Dogs, organised by the Kennel Club, is the ideal place to learn more about the joys of canine companionship, providing a fun, interactive experience dedicated to every aspect of canine care, promoting responsible dog ownership and showcasing the diversity and talents of man's best friend.

As ever, the most popular attraction is expected to be the opportunity for prospective dog owners to come and find their perfect partner with over 180 different breeds of pedigree dogs of all shapes and sizes to meet at the show.

Discover Dogs 2006 will feature a wide range of entertaining displays and competitions, from the Scruffts Family Crossbreed of the Year Competition to Rescue Dog Agility and the annual search for the Kennel Club's very own Companion Dog of the Year.

Demonstrations from dogs from all walks of life will highlight the diversity of our canine friends, whilst displays in disciplines such as Heelwork to Music and Agility cannot help but dazzle audiences due to the level of skill and training involved.

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home will be at the show so come and show your support by either buying something nice for your four-legged friend or making a donation.

Experienced members of staff will also be at hand for any questions you may have about the work of the Home, behaviour or general advice on rehoming a rescue dog or cat from us.

We will also have our pet tag engraving machine at the show and all discs and engraving will cost 2.00, so this in itself would be well worth the visit.

We will also be taking part in the Rescue dog agility - where you will be able to see ex Battersea dogs wowing the crowds with their jumping and jiving around the ring!

Please visit the Kennel Club website for information on show opening times, tickets and parking.

We look forward to seeing you there!
