Camden's first dog show is taking place in Cantelowes Gardens on Saturday 24 June, from 11am to 3pm. It promises to be a fun day out for the whole family as well as your dog(s)!
Although there is still some work to complete at the park, this will be the first day that Cantelowes Gardens will be open to the public after it's redevelopment.
The official opening takes place at 12pm with a special guest, followed by the dog show competition, open to everyone with a dog. The winners of which will receive rosettes and prizes.
The classes are:
12pm - Fancy Dress (Dogs!)
12.30pm - Waggiest Tail
1pm Best Dog Tricks
1.30pm Healthiest Dog (Best Condition)
2pm Most Attractive Eyes
2.30pm - Best 6 Legs (Dog and Owner)
...and a public vote for the best entry on the day (photo competition, taken on the day!)
Registration for your dog is £1, which includes a goody bag but entry to the show itself is free.
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home will be at the show - we will be offering microchipping (for only£10) and running a doggy tombola (full of great prizes for your dog). Experienced members of staff will also be at hand for any questions you may have about the work of the Home, behaviour or general advice on rehoming a dog or cat from us.
There will also be other stalls to browse around on the day.
