Ziggy is a young male Rhodesian Ridgeback. He's one of the dogs that, through no fault of his own, was brought into Battersea due to a change in his owner's circumstances.
We know Ziggy has been brought up since a puppy in a family environment and has benefitted from growing up with children and enjoying all the things puppys love - playing games, affection, running around and also necessary boundaries and training routines.
Although young, Ziggy is a strong dog who needs continued training and guidance in all aspects of day to day life. He needs appropriate socialising with other dogs to hone his doggy communication skills as he can get quite cheeky and attept to chase given half a chance.
His new family needs to possess large dog experience akin to Ridgebacks and be happy to continue his day to day training.
He could live with children aged 8 years plus who are calm and used to larger dogs, another suitable older female dog of a larger breed would help him to develop his dog skills and does need a Ridgeback proof garden to do all his free running around.
