Yummy Cadbury is just a big sweetie! This young Pointer Cross came into Battersea as a stray. He was so miserable in kennels that his tummy was constantly upset and he lost a lot of weight. Currently cadbury is in a foster home where happily he has thrived. His foster mum and dad have housetrained this delicious dog and say he is
* Great with children
* Loves people
* Okay to leave for up to two hours
* Sleeps on his own at night
* Good in the car
Cadbury who was so depressed at Battersea has turned out to be a happy boy and now plays both with his foster parents and by himself. He loves going out and is getting good at walking on lead without pulling. Cadbury tends to ignore other dogs or just give them a quick friendly sniff, unless they threaten him and then occasionally he will tell them off but he could live with another dog, providing it was the right match.
Cadbury needs a house with a garden in a quiet area with plenty of open space for off lead exercise. He is fine to live with children over 12, who are used to dogs. Cadbury also needs people who won't mollycuddle him but will continue to build up his social skills and put in the training he needs.
This lovely boy does have a sensitive stomach but it does right itself when he is settled, so if you think you can give him the home he deserves please come down and register with us or call our rehoming team on 020 7627 9234 but remember you will need to make an appointment as his foster carers will have to bring him into the Home to meet you.
