Xena came to Battersea as a stray so her past history is unknown. Xena is 101% Terrier with a feisty and independent attitude, she may be small and cute but will not make a suitable lapdog companion type of pet. Xena is very active and is looking for a home with plenty of open spaces locally, she is not an ideal dog to live in a town or inner-city environment.

Xena is looking for experienced owners who have owned similar fiery Terriers before, she is not suitable as a first time dog or for the less active home looking for a quiet dog. Xena is very high energy and needs active and outdoor loving owners to keep up and provide the daily stimulation she needs.

When Xena is fully grown and has some basic obedience under her belt she would be an ideal dog to participate in agility or similar doggy activities. Xena is trainable and has some good motivations she just needs a little time dedicated to this initially. Xena is a bit over confident and controlling around other dogs for her age and will need continued social work to prevent this becoming a bigger problem.

Unfortunately Xena cannot live with children and ideally needs to be the only dog in her new home. Xena is a fun challenge for the experienced owner and we hope with the right direction she will grow in to a great adult. At this stage Xena cannot be left on her own, she is still a puppy and can be vocal when left alone but is also not housetrained.

If you feel you can offer this little fire cracker the home she needs please contact the rehoming team at Old Windsor on 01784 494443 or come in to one of our centres for a rehoming interview.
