Troy came into Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in August 2005. He came into the home as his previous owners had changed their working hours & could no longer give him the time he deserved. Troy is a 12 month old male mongrel and has the potential to have a few possession issues that will need understanding and training from his new owners. He will also need calm handling sessions with good associations, preferably after a good burn off. He is eager to learn, so training with him should be fun & enjoyable.
Troy is looking for:
- Owners who have experience of owning Collie types or high-energy dogs.
- Owners who have lots of time, as they will need to build a good bond with him.
- Active lifestyle with time to invest in all basic training & control.
- A semi-rural or rural environment as he will need lots of space for burn offs.
- An adult household without any children although older teens may be considered.
- Troy could live with a mature, strong dog that could put him in his place.
