Tessa is a lively and boistrous youngster looking for very experienced GSD owners. She is a real handful and has many typical GSD traits, such as being very vocal, especially on lead, has a high chase motivation and is very loyal.

Tessa is very friendly with all people she meets, but bonds best with a male handler one to one. It is this bond that will be instrumental in all her training. Tessa is overly boistrous with dogs and her version of play is very rough. She gets easily carried away and therefore her owners must have 100% recall and control over her. Tessa will occasionally play with toys but this is not her main motivation - it is people she most wants to please.

Tessa needs a home in a semi-rural/rural setting with a lower dog population. She could live with a laid back, mature male but this would need to be a tolerant dog. Tessa is not suitable for children due to the high demand for training she has. Most of all Tessa needs someone who has had GSDs in the past who can understand where she is coming from and be a leader for her to follow. In the right hands she will be a loyal and faithful companion.

And I'm pretty!
