Daisy

Daisy has been in & out of rescue 3 times now in her short life & we are determined that Daisy's next home will be her final one.

Daisy does come across as an affectionate girl but with a slightly anxious edge to her, which is not surprising due to her being moved from pillar to post. Once this little lady has formed a bond with you she is a real pleasure to spend time with.  She can be a little manipulative at times and loves to have things on her terms but with a careful approach this can be easily managed.

Daisy loves all hands on petting and praise which will need to be used as her biggest motivation. Not overly bothered by food or toys, but if given higher value rewards she tends to take them away & keep it to her self so some control around these items will need to be advised on.

She would rather ignore other dogs & is happy to do her own thing. She is a little defensive when she is approached suddenly and will tell off and move away. Daisy has a history of being a little jealous over attention so we are looking for a home where she will not need to share her space with anything other than her owners.

Daisy will need to have regularly visits to the groomers so that her coat is well maintained.  She finds this experience a little stressful but with some advice from us and a good strong bond with her owners we feel she will start to learn to enjoy grooming more as time goes on.

We are looking for the following-

*Experienced owners who have owned smaller dogs such as - Lhasa Apso / Shitzhu / Yorkie's , (ideally long haired breeds) before and who are happy to do some basic training.

*Single or multi-adult home would be suitable

*No other dogs or cats in the household

*Not suitable for children at all due to history

*A quiet semi-rural area

*Ok in a small home with access to garden for house training

*Short leaving hours
