Storm is a stunning looking chap, with a big personality to match. He is all husky with strong breed traits, so will definitely require experienced owners not only of the breed type but people who have dealt with Huskies with high status before. Unfortunately Storm will run rings around anyone who is not prepared.
Once you get to know storm he is actually an angel in disguise, but on the outside what you see is a scatty, stubborn, pushy teenager. But with frequent training and careful socialising Storm is becoming very responsive and maturing in his behaviour.
He loves T-touch sessions, which definitely calms him down, fine to handle all over, but will let you no when he has had enough, by becoming wriggly and vocal.
Unfortunately Storm cannot live with other dogs as he is very high status and under socialised. He is however very tolerant of silly dogs but if confronted by an equal, he could get himself into trouble.
All in all Storm can be a handful, but if you are will to put in the time and have patience with him, he is actually a very loyal and loving dog who just needs the opportunity to show people the angel he is...
Requirements:
- Breed Experience (of high status huskies or similar breed types)
- Firm but fair owners
- Consistency in training
- To live in semi rural or rural areas only
- Must have garden (secure)
- Not to live with Dogs or Cats
- Not to live with Children
