Sophie came into Battersea as a stray so we do not have any information about her previous history. She's finding the whole experience quite stressful and has become a little reactive in her kennel, although once get her out she's an absolutely beautiful dog, very  loving, affectionate and forms a bound quickly towards people. Sophie is confident for her age and does have a cheeky side to her personality. Her character is very similar to a German shepherds. She's very intelligent and responds well to training. Sophie is at that age where she's pushing the boundaries and trying her luck, so will need experienced dog owners who have had large, active dogs previously and will know exactly how to implement some control into her life.

 When excited she can become quite mouthy so would not be suitable to live with young children, but older teenagers should be fine. Sophie also needs to live in an outer london location where there are fewer dogs so that the new owners will be able to establish a better recall without as many distractions.
