Simba

Simba came into Battersea Dogs and Home in December 2006. He is a 3 to 5 year old, neutered male Rhodesian Ridgeback. His owners could no longer keep him as they had to go back into full time work and Simba does not like to be left alone. He is generally a calm and collected gentleman but does also have a real fun side to his personality! Simba is looking for:

• Owners who have had large breeds previously and have an interest in Rhodesian Ridgebacks


• A multi carer household because he is highly likely to over bond with one person


• Owners who are around all day to begin with & can slowly build up the time he is left


• An adult household, although older teens may be considered


• A home with a secure garden


• Simba could possibly live with another dog who is interactive and laid back. This dog should not have any jealousy or separation issues.

He adores being around people and settles well when in their company

Simba will need some further training in his new home. To receive advice and guidance regarding his training from the Behaviour Unit staff that have worked with him, potential owners should be prepared to come into the Dogs Home for a minimum of two visits.
