Shy Guy Jasper

Shy Guy Jasper came into the Home as a stray. He was scared stiff when he first arrived so has been fostered to help him gain confidence. Although Jasper spent the first few days in his foster home huddled in his basket on the sixth day he finally ventured out to sit by his foster carer and give him a lick. Jasper was then fostered by a family so he could get used to more people and there it only took him 48 hours to chill out. All Jasper's foster carers say that this young labrador cross is very obedient and:
* Completely housetrained
* Settles down at night without a porblem
* Very Good With Other Dogs
* Walks well on a lead and is getting much braver at meeting people when out and about.
However Jasper can bark if he is shut in a room and then left on his own so his new owners will have build up the time he spends alone gradually. He also likes to chew but is as happy with something he is allowed as he is with something he isn't!
Jasper is looking for a home with more than one person in a quiet area. He can live in a large flat where he has space, as well as a house, but he will need a garden. Our boy is too sensitive to live with children or other dogs and will need owners who have good dog experience.
Jasper is always going to be a shy boy but he is eager to please and if owners are patient with his training Gentle Jasper will reward them many times over.
