Scooby is a male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross - he is between 2-3 years old and came into Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in January 2005. Scooby is a fun, active dog with lots and lots of character. He is full of energy but can easily become over stimulated and boisterous. An intelligent boy who will pick training up quickly. Scooby does have a history of separation problems in his previous home - he has been destructive and really does like the sound of his own voice! This will need to be worked through by new owners with the help of the Behaviour Unit and owners will need to very gradually increase the amount of time Scooby spends alone. 

What Scooby is looking for in a new home:

• Owners who have had bull breeds before.


• A home with a garden in a quiet semi-rural area.


• No children due to his sometimes rather boisterous behaviour.


• No cats


• A home with no other dogs but he would like to have a group of doggy friends to socialise with.


• Owners who will be around the majority of the time whilst working through his separation problems
