Charlie is a lovely boy who loves people and having cuddles, he was sadly brought to Battersea by his owners as he had started to not get on with the other dog within the house. Charlie was born with a cleft lip, this doesn't appear to be a problem for him and he will not need special treatment from his new owners, he can eat, breathe and play just like any normal dog.
Ideally Charlie is looking for experienced dog owners, knowledge or experience of Staffordshire Bull Terriers would be an advantage to understand his needs and traits. Charlie is anxious around other dogs and due to history he cannot live with another dog, he will need confident owners prepared to continue the social work needed.
In his previous home Charlie was housetrained and could be left for short periods without any problems, although not travel sick Charlie is not comfortable in moving vehicles. Once settled and bonded Charlie will need further training, especially recall as he has not been let off the lead in the past.
Charlie is a fabulous little dog with a loving and affectionate nature, he will make a cracking addition in an experienced home. Can you offer this sad boy a new home? If you feel you can give Charlie a loving home then please contact the rehoming team at Old Windsor on 01784 494443 or apply online.
