Rocky the Rottweiler cross

Rocky is a 1-2 year old Rottweiler cross who was rescued by a young couple with 5 children from a 2 bed flat where he was kept with up to 30 dogs in dire conditions. After what was a scary start for him, Rocky has settled down really well. He is friendly and very affectionate once he gets to know you. Along with his general vitality and enthusiasm which you would expect from his breed and age, there is a much more sensitive and gentle side. He is very responsive, interactive and eager to please. He appears quite confident and sociable around the Home but we feel that due to his lack of previous socialising and unpleasant experiences, there may be certain situations he might find difficult initially. Therefore Rocky needs a confident owner with natural leadership qualities he can look to for guidance.
