Peanuts was brought to Battersea as a stray so we do not have any history on this bubbly character. Ideally we are looking for experienced owners who have owned Staffordshire Bull Terriers before to understand his needs and cope with his traits.

Like most Staffordshire Bull Terriers Peanuts is very social with people and is a boisterous dog, he can get a bit over excited at times so cannot live with young children, sturdy teenagers would be considered that can help with his training.

Peanuts is a bit hyper but also social around other dogs, he may be too much for most dogs when playing so we feel he is better as an only dog in the house but would benefit from having a circle of doggy pals to burn off his energy.

Once settled Peanuts should be fine to be left for short periods but will need exercise first and to be left with things to amuse him. Assume he is housetrained but unknown how he travels in a car. Peanuts is intelligent and already knows a few basic commands, further training should be an easy task.

For the Staffie loving owner Peanuts will make a great addition, If you feel he could be the dog for you please contact the rehoming team at Old Windsor on 01784 494443 or apply online.
