Molly is a 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier cross Chihuahua, who came to Battersea in October 2003. She is a lively girl and certainly very cute! Do not be deceived by those looks however as Molly is very much a Terrier and definitely not a lap dog! Once Molly forms a bond she is affectionate and loves to interact, however she is wary of new people. Potential owners also need to be around most of the time initially due to the overbonding. Molly needs to gradually work up to spending periods of time on her own. Molly is a feisty fun little lady who loves toys and is happy to play with them on her own or with you which is an asset for training.

• Owners who have Chihuahua experience or experience of feisty little female terriers would be ideal. A good sense of humour will help as will a real apprecation of a very large character


• She can like the sound of her own voice and thus requires a semi rural area where neighbours are less likely to be disturbed by her barking.


• She enjoys playing with other dogs and needs to socialise with a group of doggy pals. However she is jealous of attention with other dogs and 'her people' so she could be rehomed with a young submissive small breed male. Molly will definately be the boss in the houshold


• Due to Molly's strong character she cannot live with children - mature teenagers maybe OK though.
