Miss Medina

This 10 year old Springer Spaniel Cross is a gentle soul with a funny side guaranteed to make you laugh. She's also a smart girl and when she wants a treat she can put on quite a show-- sit, beg, paw, down -- until the food runs out that is! She is also a calm dog and enjoys a quiet life but loves going for a walk too.
Medina came into Battersea as a stray and was very stressed in kennels, especially when seperated from the dog she came in with, so she is currently being fostered where she has quickly made herself at home. Her foster family already adore her and say she is:
* An easy dog
* Housetrained
* Very settled
* Good on lead
* Just sleeps when left on her own
* Friendly with all the family
* Good in the car
Although Medina is fine if she meets other dogs that are on the lead she will tell them off if they come running up to her. While there is no aggression in her, she could get into trouble if she tells the wrong dog off and therefore needs a home in the suburbs or the country, where she won't meet too many dogs. Medina could live in a flat as well as a house but will require a garden to potter about in.
While Medina is a gentle girl she can want her family all to herself and will need to be the only dog in the house. She also needs owners who ideally have dealt with jealousy issues before and where everyone will get involved with her daily routine so she doesn't overbond with just one person. However she is not for children.
It is not easy starting again at Medina's age but if you can accept her for what she is, she will make a loving and loyal pet. She is also very pretty for a girl of her age with the softest coat which makes cuddling her a real pleasure! Oh, and her teeth have recently had a major overhaul so no nasty surprises there!
