Meg is a one year old female Terrier who came into Battersea Dogs Home as a stray. Meg is a fiesty, fun little madam who is definitely for the Terrier enthusiast!
What Meg lacks in size, she certainly makes up for with character! She forms a strong, affection with her handler and does have huge potential for training, however there are some behavioural issues which will need working through.
Potential owners must be confident and relaxed about training and socialising her with other dogs. Meg also gets quite hyped up and over the top when she is being handled but this problem is very workable with the right training. Meg is certainly a little cracker but she could be a nightmare in the wrong hands.
Meg needs:
A quiet semi rural home with a garden, local exercise areas should not be too busy with other dogs.
Terrier experience is essential new owners who are calm, confident and enthusiastic about working on her training.
Adult household only, sorry! No children.
New owners who around quite a bit to begin with so that the time she spends alone can be built up gradually.
No other dogs in the household.
No cats in the house.
Meg is at Battersea Dogs Home London. Please call rehab on 020 7627 7893 if you are interested in Meg or email us on [email protected] and quote ref 2005/20263
