Max is a 6-12 year old Doberman x who came in to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home as a stray in December 2005. A boisterous, larger than life character who loves being around people and picks up training quickly. Although very sociable with other dogs off lead, Max can get very frustrated when he is on lead around other dogs which potential owners must be prepared to work through in his new home. Max will be a fantastic companion for experienced owners who have the time and energy to train him.

What Max is looking for in a new home:

• Owners who have had large breeds such as Dobermans and Rottweilers before so they are prepared for the big dog he will become.


• A home with a garden in a quiet semi-rural area.


• Sorry, no children but Max could possibly live with older teenagers


• Max could live with a mature female dog who will set a good example for him.
