Lovely Louie

Louie came to us as a stray and has found it hard to settle into life in kennels. He is a very active, bouncy boy who is looking for just the right home to care for him.

Since he has been at Battersea he has been seen by our behaviour unit. The reasons they had a look at him was mainly for his dog to dog interactions. Louie is very enthusiastic about seeing other dogs and can be quite over the top, not to say that he couldn't live with a calmer female that can handle his size.

They have picked up on other potential problems that new owners need to be aware of. These are attention seeking behaviour, lead walking and formal handling.

Louie is an excitable, interactive young dog who also has an independent side. He tends to do things first then think later. Approached in the right way Louie is keen to please and does pick up training quickly.

Louie is looking for experienced owners who are:
* Used to large breeds such as Dobermans
* Semi-rural
* Large Home
* Experience of similar temperament dogs
* Are willing to put hard work into this amazing dog
