Leona

Leona was found wandering the streets so sadly we have no history on her, she appears to be under-socialised in certain areas and feels more comfortable and confident when out and about. Leona is still young and has potential to grow more, she will need a large home and garden to accomadate her.

Leona is not your average puppy and will need experienced rescue dog owners to continue her social work and start the training needed, this may include housetraining as it appears she has not been in a home environment before. Dedication, patience and understanding is needed, Leona is a true rescue dog.

Leona is very confident around other dogs, some dogs find her too much as she can be very vocal and enjoys chasing them. Leona could possibly live with another dog but we advise a mature adult male only with no behaviour problems.

Due to Leona's age she cannot be left alone for long periods, once settled she could possibly be left for a few hours as she will settle after a walk and if left with things to do. Being a collie type Leona will be an energetic dog so will need active owners prepared to offer the stimualtion needed.
