Lacey is an active, sociable girl who is fun and very amusing to be around. She can be initially nervous when meeting new people but she does come around quickly if you are calm with her & show her you want to be her friend.
Lacey does have a short attention span when it comes to toys and will interact with people only for a short while before she loses interest. Her favourite toy does appear to be the tennis ball but she has not mastered the art of bringing the ball back to you just yet. Owners will need to be creative and fun in games to help maintain her interest.
Lacey's biggest motivation is food and if you have anything edible in your possession you have her complete focus. Training and a little guidance is what Lacey needs overall and need all basics to be taught from scratch.
Lacey can be a little rude towards other dogs. She is happy to interact & have a play with them but when told off it occasionally falls on deaf ears so ongoing structured socialising with confident, mature types will be needed.
Lacey is a sweet natured girl & will be a fun & affectionate companion. Once she has built up a bond with you she really comes out of her shell & really loves the attention.
Lacey is looking for:-
- Experienced dog owners who have dealt with separation issues before & have raised a young juvenile dog .
- Owners must be prepared to put in consistent training time one to one with Lacey so will need to have plenty of time on their hands.
- Lacey could possibly live with older teenagers who can help with her training.
- She will also not be able to live with either a dog or cat due to jealously issues seen.
- Ideally a low dog-populated area is preferred.
