Katie is a very special girl. Despite a really tough start- locked in a kennel for the first six months of her life and knowing nothing of the outside world - this pup has never lost her trust in people and is an affectionate youngster who L-O-V-E-S cuddles. Since arriving at Battersea Katie has been in a foster home with her sister Coco and she has turned out to be a lovely little lady who really wants to please. A great deal of the basic hard work of training and socialising Katie has been done and will just need to be reinforced in her new home. Katie's foster mum and dad say that this English Bull Terrier cross is now:
* Housetrained -- although she can still have the odd accident so will need understanding until she had settled down

* Crate trained and can be left for up to 2 hours on her own without a problem

* Greets other dogs nicely but then happy to do her own thing

* Very friendly with people but not Over The Top

* Travels well in the car in a crate

Kate might look like a feisty little lady but she is still easily spooked by new things so needs a home with a garden in a quiet suburb or in the country. Although she is good with other dogs at this stage she needs to be the only dog in the house so she can transfter her trust and attention to her new owners -- preferably two people who will enjoy carrying on with her training. Katie can also be fazed by children so can only be rehomed with those over sixteen.
This lovable willing young dog needs her own home, bed, toys, and most importantly her own people to love who will continue to introduce her to the big wide world.
