Jazz

Jazz is a ten month old German Shepherd Cross with a bit of Collie and Terrier, this will be his second visit to Battersea through no fault of his own. Jazz is a highly energetic dog and is constantly on the go and looking for things to do. He is looking for experienced dog owners prepared for a livewire and what comes with them. He is not suitable for the faint hearted or less active owner, Jazz needs active and fit owners to keep up with him and provide the daily stimulation needed to keep him happy. Jazz will find his own amusements if bored, once he has mastered some basic commands he would be a great candidate for dog sports like agility or flyball. Jazz is a great natured dog and has a real zest for life, his new owners must love the outdoors and being busy as Jazz has high energy levels and needs to be entertained!

Social lad who does enjoy being around people, in his previous home he was destructive and occasionally barked. This may be anxiety related so will need owners who are around the majority of the day to help him learn that being on his own isn't so scary! Jazz is social with other dogs but can be boisterous and a bit much for some dogs, he could potentially live with a mature female who will be a good role model for him. Unknown if compatible with cats, requires testing. As jazz is a bit hyper and boisterous he cannot live with young children, fine for teenagers who will take an active part in his training and care.
