Honey

Honey is a very pretty, friendly & sociable young lady who is unfortunately now on her 3rd visit to us now. She 1st arrived as a stray and was then returned due to her chasing the cats in the home. The last reason she was returned was due to her escaping from the garden over a 6ft fence. Honey does have a lot of energy in her young body & benefit from doing agility or similar activities so as to burn off her high energy levels in a constructive & positive way, we feel Honey would enjoy doing these as she is a highly intelligent & very keen to please. With other dogs Honey has a tendency to play quite rough & will play chase & grab collie games. She doesn't always listen to a telling off and will tend to pester and bully dogs if she can. For this reason it is very unlikley she will be suitable to live with other dogs. We may possibly consider a mature & confident natured dog that will not allow Honey to bully them, but so far we have found her to be too much for most. She would need to be 100% good on introductions.

We are looking for-

*Owners with experience of Border collies as she is typical of the breed

*A large home with a secure high fence due to escaping history

*A quiet rural area with good areas for burn off's

*Not for young children but Teenagers will be ok so as to help with her training

*A single or multi adult home would be fine

*Not suitable to live with cats

*Short leaving hours due to her age

Honey would like to add that Owners who are fun & active who are interested in doing additional activities are what she is ideally looking for.
