A lovable lump of a dog, Henry is not a dog for the house-proud! His slobber can decorate the walls whilst his tail wipes out all in his path. Strong and easily excitable, Henry needs new owners who are calm but still active and able to match the fun side of his character. Because Henry is a bit of an attention seeker and can become over stimulated in play, he has spent some time with the Behaviour Unit at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. He can sometimes be boisterous and lacking in manners, so the training started at Battersea will need to be continued in his new home.
Henry is looking for:
- Owners who have had experience of large guarding breed types (i.e. Mastiffs, Rottweilers etc) and have had experience of training dogs previously.
- Henry is a strong dog so owners must be up to the physical challenge!
- A home ideally out of town with a garden.
- Henry could possibly live with another dog , if female and a good match.
- An all adult household without any young visiting children because of him becoming over stimulated in play easily.
A cracking dog with loads of character!
Henry is at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home London. Please call the Behaviour Unit on 020 7627 7884 if you are interested in Henry or email us on [email protected] and quote ref 2006/01065
