These are one of our more popular breeds that we seem to get here at Battersea. They come in a variety of colours, size and coat lengths .

Most of the German Shepherd types have come from an urban environment and have not had the correct training that a young enthusiastic German Shepherd needs. Due to this we are always on the look out for experienced homes that have had hands-on experience of training dogs and know about the breed traits. Potential new owners would need to be at home for most of the day, as many of them will need a lot of work in the beginning. Most of them can be quite boisterous and a lot of them would be too much to re-home with young children.
