Gemma

Gemma was brought to Battersea as a stray so we do not have any history on this beautiful girl, she was very nervous and confused on arrival but is growing in confidence on a daily basis. Gemma is anxious and sensitive so may take time to settle in to her new home, needs patience and understanding.

Ideally we are looking for experienced rescue dog owners or people that have owned German Shepherds, Collies or similar so new owners will know exactly what they are going home with. Gemma will need owners who are around the majority of the day to start the training and social work needed.

Due to her age and nature Gemma may become clingy once bonded and should not be left on her own for long periods. Unfortunatley Gemma cannot live with young children, she needs a quiet home environment and space when needed so teenagers would be considered. Gemma is social with other dogs, could possibly live with a sturdy adult male.
