Fun lovin' Foxy

This youngster is a true terrier with a lively mind, a lovin' heart and lots of energy. Foxy loves being in the thick of things and is a real character. This little lad came into Battersea as a stray and could not settle in kennels so he is currently in a foster home, where he is doing R-E-A-L-L-Y W-E-L-L! His foster dad says that Foxy has settled down quickly and come on leaps and bounds in just a few weeks. He adds that Foxy is:
* Housetrained
* Can be left alone for 4 hours without a problem
* Very Good With Other Dogs
* A fast little learner
* Very affectionate with people

For all his lovely qualities, little Foxy is an excitable boy and needs to be kept calm. However he really responds well to a fair but firm hand, lots of exercise and clear ground rules.
Foxy can live in town as well as the country but he does need patient and active owners who will have the time and energy to give him the exercise he needs and continue with his training. Foxy could live with another dog, providing it is a good calm role model and not too boisterous. Although Foxy is lovely with children he can only live with those over 12 who will be consistent with his training.
