Freddy is a 3-5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who came into the dog's home as a gift back in August 2005. Freddy is a confident little man who loves to be the centre of attention (in other words he has got an overly inflated ego and thinks the world revolves around him). He was referred to Behaviour Unit to see due to showing some possession issues over his bed area. He is quite a character and will try to manipulate situations by barking a lot which owners will need to be advised on how to handle. Freddy is also very vocal around other dogs especially on the lead, once off the lead he will interact but does not seem that comfortable around them. Freddy is a sociable and loveable little Cavalier, who will make a great addition to the right home. Freddy is looking for:
- Experience of possession and general status issues would be a big advantage
- A Multi-carer household is a must as Freddy does have the potential to over bond.
- No children (older teen may be considered).
- Minimal leaving hours due to separation issues.
- Not suitable to live with another dog due to possessive nature.
- Any environment but owners must be aware that he can be vocal so neighbours would have to be considered
