Freddie is a fabulous 5-7 year old collie cross with a lovely, playful nature and full-of-life eyes. Freddie has lots of energy and once he has built a bond with you he is very keen to interact and will become an affectionate and fun companion to have around. Freddie is looking for:

Experienced owners particularly of collie types

A country-type home, since he adores the great outdoors

A garden for training and an area that he can potter about in when he feels the need to.

Freddie could live with a mature, steady female dog, but unfortunately he is not suitable to live with cats. Freddie will need to be rehomed into an adult-only household due to the level of consistency needed with regards to his training, but older teens may be considered. Freddie will need some further training in his new home. To receive advice and guidance regarding this training from the Behaviour Unit staff that have worked with him, potential owners should be prepared to come into the Dogs Home for a minimum of two visits.
