Flirt

Flirt is a delightful lady with a very sad background and in need of owners with patience who will give time to develop and guidance in her life. She has spent all her life in kennels and when she arrived at Battersea she was put in a foster home with a very experienced member of staff here.
* Her foster mum has reported that Flirt is now fully house trained.
* A very good traveler in the car.
* Flirt has a very good recall.
* She is very good with the dogs she lives with at the moment.
* Flirt is still a bit nervous of people and needs to be introduced gently and not be forced into new situations.

Flirt will need plenty of consistency so she is better suited to a non busy household but at least more than one person in the home. During her initial settling in period Flirt will need someone at home most of the time and gradually increase the lenght she can be left alone. Due to her nervous nature Flirt is not suitable to live with children, however older teenagers may be considered. Flirt is good with dogs and will benefit from leaving with a mature adult dog who has lived with dogs before and is a confident, sociable dog with no issues. Flirt is what you would call a proper rescue dog who just had no joy in her life until now. Flirt needs to have a different outlook on life and see how fun it is to be happy and loved. She will give it back tenfold. Only now she has started playing with toys and it is so rewarding to watch her.
