Dora

Dora is a feisty 18 month old Fox Terrier who came to Battersea in March 2005. She has spent time at Battersea Dogs Home with the behaviour staff as she can be over confident and sometimes confrontational with other dogs and likes to state her territory and chase potential threats away, this can however include people and traffic. Dora needs a lot of work on focus towards her handler.

Dora needs :

— A mature adult only household with good terrier knowledge. Sorry! No children.

— A home with a garden and preferably in a reasonably quiet semi rural area with not much traffic or many busy areas.

— Confident people who are prepared to be firm but fair

— Dora isn't a lap dog she needs to find her role within her new family and this will need to be consistent.

— Although she is not live with another female dog she could live with a strong male.

— Sorry, Dora will not be suitable to live with cats.

Dora is an enjoyable dog to have around and has a great confident, cocky terrier attitude towards life.
