The bravest boy in Battersea, Dexter came into the Home last year with the worst case of mange our vets have ever seen. This neglected little pup has endured over 30 harsh chemical baths and painful skin scrapes but has never lost his patience or trust in people. For the past nine months Dexter has been in a foster home and happily he is now a fit young lad and his coat has grown back. This stocky little staffie has turned out beautifully and his foster mum says that he is:

* Very Obedient
* Fully Housetrained
* Can be left for upto 5 hours
* Lovely with People
* Good with other Dogs
* Great in the car

Dexter may look like a little cannonball but he is in fact a shy reserved boy and although sociable with other dogs he likes to stay away from alpha males and therefore should live out of the city in a home with a garden. Dexter may be able to live with another dog providing she is a mature sociable female. Although sweet with children, Dexter should only live with older ones as he is a strong boy on the lead. Dexter is used to a calm household and is happiest with firm rules and a set routine. This lovely lad needs energetic owners who will give him time to readjust after his long foster. Oh and they should have a good throwing arm as Dexter is happiest when he is retrieving tennis balls!

If you think you can give this lovable little lad the home he so deserves, please come down and register with us or call our rehoming team on 200 7627 9234 and quote Dexter's reference number 07/04809. Our vets will want to talk to you about Dexter before you meet him.
