Daisy is a 6 to 12 month old Labrador cross that was brought into the home in November 2006 as her previous owner had insufficient time for her. Daisy is a confident and cheeky youngster who will need some basic training but has potential to learn very quickly. Daisy was referred to the Behavioural Unit in order for us to investigate her advanced food possession issues when in confined spaces
Daisy is looking for:
- Owners who have experience with medium to large confident dogs
- Experience of dealing with food possession and stranger issues
- A semi-rural or rural environment with a garden to gently socialise her
- Owners who are willing to follow an ongoing training programme
- Owners will need to have quite a lot of free time initially for all the mental and physical stimulation that Daisy will need, as she will have no problems finding alternative ways and means of occupying herself
- An adult household without any children or visiting children
- Daisy could live with a mature male who will interact with her and teach her some doggy manners and that has no issues regarding food.
- Daisy is at Battersea dogs home London.
