Coby is a lively and scatty boy who has recently finished his racing career so is now looking for patient owners while he settles in to a new way of life. Coby is a smashing character and full of fun, he does have his relaxed moments where he loves nothing more than a fuss and cuddle. As Coby has spent the majority of his life in kennels it may take him time to settle in to a home environment and he will need to be housetrained. This is normally a fairly quick process with most ex-racing Greyhounds but owners will need to dedicate some time initially with his training. Coby travels well in a car and walks well on a lead unless there is a rabbit or squirrel around, he can be a bit strong and excitable around small fluffy animals so he cannot live with other small pets. Coby could potentially live with another female Greyhound or similar sized dog. Coby needs a large home and garden to run around in as he may not be able to have off lead exercise in the park due to his high chase instinct. Coby enjoys his walks, he will only need 2-3 twenty minute walks a day. Greyhounds make fabulous pets once settled, why don't you give him a chance you will fall in love. If you feel you can offer this boy a home please contact the rehoming team at Old Windsor on 01784 494443.
