Charm is a 1 year old Rottweiler bitch who came into the dogs home back in April 2005 as a gift to the home. She was gifted in as the owners couldn't cope with her and a new baby.
While Charm is undersocialised she is very much a Rottweiler through and through. She does have a wary edge which develops quickly and she can become quite confident and challenging. She was referred to the Rehabilitation Department for Possession issues seen over toys and food which once in a new home will need to be carefully handled with the advise from the rehab team.
Battersea has also paid for operations that she has had to have on her elbows. As she has medical problems with her joints, this may have an impact on the amount of exercise she receives and her new owners will need to discuss this in more detail with Battersea staff when enquiring about her.
Charm is looking for:
- An Adult Household only (No Children due to possession issues)
- Semi-rural location
- People Experienced with Rottweilers/large strong willed guarding breeds
- Calm and Patient owners who are willing to do lots of one to one work with her.
- Could live with another dog.
