Chad is an 18 month old Chihuahua cross male. Small in size but mighty in mind, this little man has an aim for world domination. Due to his size he might never get to be a dictator but it sure won't stop him from trying, he is definitely not a lap dog!
Chad has a few problems that need to be addressed by his owners including
his response to other dogs and handling. Chad wouldn't be bothered if he never saw another dog again. He is the sort of dog that may have some doggie friends socially but only after a few uncomfortable introductions. While other dogs don't take Chad seriously he gets himself into a state. It's better if he is rehomed alone and owners should be prepared to avoid situations rather than expect him to change.
Everyone who knows Chad at Battersea, has had a mandatory temper tantrum from him. Building a good relationship with him and getting him used to handling is important. Strangers will need to be introduced carefully.
Chad's new owners need experience of terriers or Chihuahuas and should have 'hands on' knowledge of high status small dogs. He would be better placed in a mature adult household and will not be suitable for children (even grand children)
What you see is what you get with Chad. Confident owners with a sense of humour and no expectations of changing him dramatically will suit Chad.
