Carter

Carter arrived at Battersea as a stray so we have no history on the beautiful boy. Carter is ideally looking for experienced owners that have owned Rottweilers or similar guarding breeds before, he is a strong and boisterous youngster needing guidance.

Carter has been fostered and within his foster home he was housetrained, traveled well in a car and was fine to be left alone for short periods with no problems. Carter is an energetic dog who lacks some control at times, he needs patient owners willing to dedicate time to his training.

At this stage Carter cannot live with children, cats or other dogs. Carter is social with other dogs but can be vocal and frustrated on lead so will need further social work to prevent this becoming a problem in the future.

When Carter arrived at Battersea he had a badly broken leg, Carter had surgery to repair this in September and our veterinary surgeons will need to speak to any prospective new owner regarding this and what it means for Carter in the future.
