Buchi is a 1-2 year old cross breed who was brought into Battersea Dogs & Cats Home by her previous owners back in January 2006 . She is an intelligent, alert and sociable youngster with a slight underlying anxious edge about her. Buchi was referred to the Behaviour Unit in order for us to investigate her issues regarding formal handling, especially restraint and her intolerance of other dogs. Buchi is looking for:

• A home in a semi-rural location with a garden so that new owners will have a place begin all basic training in an enclosed, controlled environment with few noisy distractions


• Owners who have owned energetic, highly strung dogs before would be an advantage.


• She needs to live in a household with more than one person, so that she will not get too attached to just a single owner


• Due to Buchi's general intolerance of pushy dogs, a laid back, steady, non-intrusive older male that has no issues over toys or chase-related problems would be suitable 


• She should not be left for long periods as she has the potential to develop problems with being left on her own


• Preferably an all adult household, but older, experienced teens may be considered if they were willing to be an active member with regards to all of Buchi's training 


• Buchi could live with a confident cat that has lived with dogs before

Buchi will make a super pet for owners looking to put the time and effort into her training. Buchi is at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home London.
