Rocky is a one to two year old male Pointer cross who came into Battersea Dogs & Cats Home as a stray in October 2006. Rocky has a larger than life type of character, he loves to be on the go and in the thick of things. He is not the brightest spark but will however put all he can into trying to get it right.
Rocky is looking for:

• A household with more than one person, as he has the potential to overbond
  
• Owners that have experience of large working dogs as he has a lot of energy and can be over the top in his interactions with both dogs and people
  
• Not suitable to live with another dog
  
• A house with a garden in a semi rural or rural enviroment
  
• Due to his over the top nature he is not suitable to live with young children, however older experienced teens may be considered
  
• Not suited to live with cats

Although he's no genius Rocky is a comedian and will keep new owners entertained for hours with his foolish anticks. Rocky will need some further training in his new home.

To receive advice and guidance regarding this training from the Behaviour Unit staff that have worked with him, potential owners should be prepared to come into the Dogs Home for a minimum of two visits.
