ATTENTION ALL BORDER COLLIE ENTHUSIASTS!!! Border Collies make their way into Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on a regular basis. They come in for a wide variety of reasons, and vary in ages, colours and sex. More often than not we are looking for specific types of homes for these dogs as they are a naturally active and highly intelligent breed of dog. Sporting and working homes are a great outlet for many of our collies as it allows them to use both body and mind in a productive way. These homes include agility, obedience, working trials and sheepdog work. Similarly Border Collies can make wonderful companion dogs if provided with the right aount of stimulation. Many collies will cope better in a semi-rural/rural setting and need owners prepared to provide daily training and stimulation. So ... if you are a collie entusiast, have experience with the breed and are up for the fun and excitment, along with potentially lots of training please contact one of the following.
