A sensitive soul, Bonnie is a timid young thing with a sweet affectionate side.  Easily influenced, she is looking for owners who will give her gentle guidance she needs and not apply too much pressure on her.Bonnie was referred to the Behavior Unit due to her possessive issues around toys, her intolerance towards formal handling and her reactions towards people that she does not know. Once she has built a bond with you and feels more settled, Bonnie is a playful, bright dog with a fun, mischievous side.  Bonnie is looking for:

• Bonnie will need owners that have had experience of owning dogs that have a slightly wary edge to them


• Ideally owners will have owned dogs that have had possessive issues and issues with strangers


•  A calm, multi carer household to avoid over bonding, but no more than three family members to maintain a calm, quiet environment for her


• A large home in a quiet environment with a garden for training 


•  Unfortunately Bonnie cannot live with other dogs due to her jealousy issues 


•  Not to live with children or visiting children but older teenagers may be considered if they are willing to take an active part in her training


• Bonnie will require owners that are willing to listen to advise and follow an ongoing training programme advised by the behaviour team at Battersea
