Bones was referred to the Rehabilitation Department for Attention Seeking behaviours, which include ankle biting, and lead ragging as well as handling issues. He is currently still with the rehab team while he continues to work alongside his handler.
Bones is a super dog with a great character. He is independent, extremely sharp and a real rough edged terrier. He is very headstrong and needs owners that are confident and who won't take him too seriously. He is good with other dogs but can become jealous over attention when around them. Could be rehomed with another dog but it would have to be the right people and the right type of dog for it to work. Outdoor facilities are a must i.e. stables or a farm would be ideal. He is very destructive if left and would be more suited to an outdoor lifestyle rather than spending all day inside a house. Rural location with plenty of exercise areas for him to run riot will be needed. Bones will Not be suitable to live with cats in a household, but could possibly if they are outdoor, hardy cats. He also travels well in a car and is housetrained.
Bones needs experienced terrier people who will know just how to handle him.
If you think you could offer the type of home Bones you can either e-mail us for more info on [email protected] or contact the Rehabilitation Department on 02076279248 and ask for Abby.
