Bindy is a 1-2 year old brindle mongrel who came to Battersea in April 2004. He is a youngster with loads of potential in the right home because he is intelligent, good at training and loves interaction with people.
He does however have some behaviour problems that require time and patience to address, particularly as he becomes over stimulated around people and will jump up to grab arms and clothing. He has followed a training programme whilst at Battersea with positive results so new owners must be prepared to continue this. Bindy is a lively energetic man, looking for owners as active as he is!
Bindy's needs;
- Bindy is not suitable for living with children, or visiting houses with children. Older teens will be considered provided they are prepared to be involved in his training.
- Bindy had problems with separation in his previous home so potential owners should be around most of the time to enable them to gradually increase the time he spends alone.
- He needs a home in a semi rural area with good exercise facilities nearby.
- A garden is essential for playing, exercising and training.
- Bindy is good with other dogs but as with his human friends, he gets rather over the top! He could live with an older female who will interact with him and teach him some doggie manners!
Bindy is a lively friendly dog with much to give the right home. He needs calm, patient owners who have previously owned dogs (preferably other OTT youngsters!) and are prepared to dedicate time to his training, particularly lead training!
Bindy is a great youngster looking for calm experienced owners willing to make an effort for him.
