Benny is a 1-2 year old male German Shepherd x Greyhound who came into Battersea in December 2004. He has a great zest for life but unfortunately can get a bit carried away with himself and be rather an attention seeker. He is looking for owners who are as active as he is but who will also provide him with the calm guidance he needs. A really smashing character who has a huge amount to offer although he can be rather a handful at times! Benny needs:
- A quiet semi rural home with a garden.
- No children in the household although older teens maybe considered.
- Experience of large breeds is essential.
- A home where everyone is enthusiastic about working on Benny's training
- A household with several people so that he does not overbond with one person.
- Owners who are confident about socialising him with suitable doggy friends, Benny could live with a mature steady dog as long as a suitable match. Benny will not be suitable to live with Cats
- A home where people will be around the majority of the time so that the time he spends on his own can be built up gradually.
