Belle is a 12 month old, American Bulldog Cross, who was brought into Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in May 2006 as she didn't get along with the other dog she was living with.

Belle may be delicate by name, but by no means is she by nature! Prospective owners will need to be similarly as hardy if they are considering taking her on! Don't be fooled by her innocent looks, Belle will be a challenge from day one, but owners who are keen to work on training will be rewarded with a fun and entertaining new companion.

Belle is looking for :

• Owners with experience of Bull breeds, preferably strong minded females


• Owners who have plenty of time, are keen on continuing with her training and can match her enthusiasm


• A quiet out of town location, with plenty of access to exercise areas


• An adult household, older teenagers may be considered, depending on experience


• Belle could live with a confident male dog, but not another bull breed
