Beautiful Honey

Honey was brought to Battersea by her owners as they had a new baby so felt they could no longer offer Honey the time and attention she needs. Sadly Honey has been looking for a home since December 2006, this is a long time for any dog to spend in kennels and Honey has become increasingly frustrated and stressed within this environment.

Ideally we are looking for experienced owners who have owned Staffordshire Bull Terriers before so will understand her needs and traits. Honey is very typical of her breed and at times can be boisterous but she is also very affectionate and loves being around people, she will make a loyal and loving addition once settled.

Honey is social with other dogs out and about on walks but unfortunately cannot live with other dogs as can become jealous over items she considers high value, this does include people. In her previous home Honey travelled well in a car and was housetrained, she is a very intelligent girl who already knows some commands and is trainable.

Being a people loving dog Honey does not like being left alone for long so ideally needs owners who are around the majority of the time. Honey is boisterous and high energy, she will need active owners who can keep up and provide the stimulation needed. Unfortunately Honey cannot live with children, teenagers would be considered that can help with training.
